WithinReach 2019 Learning Series: Health Equity

Description:

The first in WithinReach’s 2019 Learning Series, we hope to challenge our partners, advocates and friends to think about and understand health inequities, structural oppression and our role in improving health equity for Washington families.

Moderated by WithinReach CEO Kay Knox, you’ll hear from a panel of three key leaders at this free event:

  • Sheila Capestany, Strategic Advisor for Children and Youth, King County
  • Victoria Gardner, EdD, Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at UW School of Public Health
  • Teresa Mosqueda, Seattle City Councilmember

We’re excited about this event for many reasons. Health equity is a large part of why we do the work we do at WithinReach. This first event of our Learning Series is part of our long-term vision to mobilize more community resources, build the infrastructure needed to deepen the services we provide to families, and ensure that equity is at the center of our approach.

Space is limited, so don’t wait to register!
