Health at Home: The New Normal of Care
COVID-19 exposed the fragility of our health care system and demonstrated once again the value of providing care to the home. As the pandemic unfolded, we showed in hot-spots ranging from New York and Connecticut to Florida and Louisiana that the home can be a superior destination for care.

Novel analytics, technology and care paradigms have helped payers evolve their care strategies in close coordination with providers. The result is a complete continuum of care to ensure patients with and without COVID-19 leave the hospital with the right care and services delivered at the right time, minimizing downstream health risks and unnecessary readmissions. Now and in the future, the home will be the most critical leverage point, enabling payers to safely bridge the gap for patients who need care. While COVID-19 exposed the weaknesses of our current system, it’s also ushering in a new era of care: health at home. Guest speaker includes Melissa Carr, General Manager, Home Health Solutions, and Jon Terenzett, VP, Advanced Data Labs both from CareCentrix.
