Event Details

Organized by Alliance of Angels, come hear two experienced angels speak about getting started investing in technology start-ups. They will cover:

1. How to think about the different stages of start-ups and build a portfolio.
2. How many deals you need to be in, liquidity of your investments, timing, and deal flow.
3. Due diligence: the basics of evaluating start-ups.
4. How deals are structured and legal basics.

Whether you are ready to start now or planning for the future this interactive session is designed to provide a framework for thinking about angel investing, how to make your first deal, and how to engage as an ongoing investor. The discussion will be targeted at those wanting to actively invest, but is useful for passive investors in seed funds who wish to understand more about this asset class.
