Join Life Science Washington Institute for a free “Learn by Doing” workshop presented by SciPhD.

With an increasing number of available jobs shifting from academia to industry settings, understanding the skills necessary to compete and succeed in an industry position is critical. This four-day workshop will provide you with interactive experiences and guidance as you prepare to move beyond academia and pursue your career! As part of your registration, you will also receive access to Flamingo, the virtual career coach, to help guide you through the job search process. Additionally, the workshop will end with an opportunity to meet with representatives and recruiters from each of our sponsor companies as part of a virtual networking session.

Who should attend?: This workshop series is for graduate students, doctoral candidates and post-docs looking for professional guidance as they pursue their careers.

Registration: Register on Eventbrite. Registration is free for students. Prior to the workshop, all registered students will receive an email from SciPhD with instructions on joining the virtual classroom and accessing Flamingo. June 8th is the deadline to register.
